Summary
Google Analytics not being tracked in Safari 4
mark
Reported

We've just built a Safari 4 Webkit and it runs quite well except for one thing. It doesn't catch Google analytics tracking code. I've checked the safari 3.2 browser and it get's tracked but the Safari 4 browser doesn't.

How do you determine whether it's being tracked?

We use a third party software called wireshark that looks into the httpheaders and transaction. Using other browsers and Safari v3, we can see the google anayltics image link being displayed, meaning there's transaction (Google analytics works by inserting image link in the page) but with safari 4 and the webkit latest built it doesn't show, like it's not triggered at all.

Do you have an example URL where this happens?
