I have verified this enhancement and I can confirm that after following the steps from here a spotlight containing the following elements is displayed:
- The "Try a splash of color" title is displayed in the top part of the spotlight.
- The "Choose a wallpaper to give your New Tab a fresh look." string is displayed under the title.
- 6 wallpaper cards displayed on two rows (3 cards on each row) are displayed under the text description.
- The "Save theme" primary button is displayed under the wallpaper cards.
- The "Not now" secondary button is displayed under the primary button.
Also, I can confirm that the selected theme is applied to the New Tab page if the "Save theme" spotlight button is clicked.
Verified using the latest Firefox Beta 126.0b2 (Build ID: 20240417091940), and the latest Firefox Nightly 127.0a1 (Build ID: 20240418214121) installed on Windows 10 x64, macOS 14.1.1, and Ubuntu 22.04 x64.
That being said, during testing, we found two new issues affecting the wallpaper onboarding spotlight. You can find them here. @Amy could you please take a look over them?
