Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:129.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/129.0

Steps to reproduce:

I opened a PDF that has some pages rotated the wrong way. I tried right-clicking on the page and the little preview on the left.

Actual results:

I couldn't read the text since it was on the side, and no option came up for me to rotate it

Expected results:

There should be an option for me to rotate a page by 90 degrees

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::PDF Viewer' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Component: Untriaged → PDF Viewer

You can press the R key or use the rotate button in the secondary menu (behind the double chevron button on the top right of the viewer).
That said this feature isn't so easy to discover... so it's a bug.

Severity: -- → S3
Type: enhancement → defect
Priority: -- → P3

Thanks. Another thing to note is that pressing 'R' rotates every page in the pdf, rather than just the current page, which is often what's desired (e.g. someone scanned one page in the wrong orientation, but the rest are all the same).
